Sunday, 22 November 2020

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @Caffeinated Reviewer. It's a chance to share, latest reads,  recap the past week, show any bookish post and share what's coming up on the week ahead.  See rules here: Sunday Post Meme.

 Good Morning!

There are affiliate links in this post.

I hope your Sunday is off to a fab start, this week has been all go, yesterday my wee cat had to get sedated for his claws to be trimmed as it puts him under so much distress trying when he's awake so whilst he sat and stared off into space for hours I kept a close eye on him whilst thinking about blogmas this year!

It's been so long since I tried to even take part in a Christmas Blogmas but I am really determined to this year so today I shall be prepping all of that!

ON THE BLOG:

READATHON:

HoHoHoRAT

I signed up for the Ho-Ho-Ho Readathon hosted also by Caffeinated Reviewer and am loving being so festive, I just realised this morning there is an Bookstagram challenge as well so I will definitely be starting that today! If you're on Insta follow me @abookishredhead

For more info on the Readathon read HERE.

BOOKS:

I read The Christmas Pact by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward recently and absolutely adored it! I couldn't believe how quickly I fell for it hoping for a HEA! Their latest festive romance Scrooged is on my list TBR this week!

My current read is Sex, Snow and Mistletoe by Laura Barnard, a wee festive romance short story that I read every year as it ever gets old, the book is free on Amazon Kindle HERE.

How has your week been? Are you doing blogmas this year? Let me know in the comments below and leave a link to your Sunday Post if you take part.

  1. Poor kitty, I hope he's better now. One of our cat is old and goes outside, so she doesn't need this, but the youngest does ! Since we're on lockdown, she'll have to wait. Happy reading :)

  2. I can't imagine how funny that would have been. But I hope he is alright now. The instachallenge sounds super exciting. Have fun!

  3. Poor cat! One of my dogs can't stand having his nails trimmed and it takes both me and my husband to hold him. He weighs 80 pounds.

  4. I'm alternating holiday books for the HoHoHoRAT with Scifi books for Scifi month. Luckily, the freebies are shortish and I can read one almost every day if I don't fall asleep too fast. Our dog Lulu hates her nail trim torture sessions but thankfully I'm getting much better and faster at it. Happy reading !
