Words of Inspiration from your own kind is an amazing, exceptionally brilliant book. It is filled with poems and poems that are so real and understanding.

I felt I could connect with some of them and know what the author means as they are so emotional and very very true. There were a few I loved but one that stood out from the rest for me was the one below and I've been allowed to tell yous all which one it is.

I have Risen

If they drag me down in the dirt, I will come up cleaner.

I have risen

Any kind of writing just doesn't get any better than that. It is extraordinary and so so amazingly written. This book has definitely put alot of things in perspective for me and I can't believe how reading this book page after page I thoroughly enjoyed!

Everyone should read this novel! As it will near enough change the way you see things for the better! :)

Rachel Greer is a very talented author one which I know I will read any of her future work as Words of Inspiration just can't be enough!

Full Name: Sydlynn Thaddea Hayle

Physical Description: Slim but athletic build (she’s a kick-ass soccer player) with long, wavy brown hair bordering on black, blue eyes and a handful of freckles that show up when she gets too much sun.

Background: Syd has grown up in a powerful coven, the daughter of the leader and a Demon Lord of the Seventh Plane. Ever since she can remember, she’s wanted to be ordinary. A powerful witch who is also half demon, she has access to an incredible amount of magic. But using said magic makes her dizzy and nauseated and has driven her to hate her power. She struggles every day to fit in with the normal kids, suffering from bullies and living the life of an outcast. Her parents refuse to let her shed her magic until her eighteenth birthday and she is counting down the days.

Who she lives with: Her mother Miriam Hayle, 38, her grandmother Ethpeal, 64, her little sister Meira, 9, her demon cat Sassafras, (age unknown to Syd), Uncle Frank (frozen at 21 by vampirism) and his girlfriend Sunny (age unknown to Syd). Her father visits from time to time through his granite effigy in the basement.

Where she lives: Syd and her family have just relocated to a small town in Pennsylvania called Wilding Springs. Dislikes: Her demon side, how the entire membership of her coven seems to think they have a say in what she does, being bullied. Her mom.

Mysteries: The Moromond family arrives in town, old friends of her mother’s. Syd is oddly drawn to and repulsed by the deliciously handsome Quaid Moromond, their dark, lean and perfectly yummy witch son. Naturally, he doesn’t fit in with her plans to be normal. She struggles with seemingly coincidental attacks on her family while battling the bullies who try to put her in her place as the weird new girl. A huge black dog seems to be following her everywhere while, to her utter amazement, Brad Peters, the captain of the football team, actually wants to be her friend.

Can you tell us abit about yourself?

Well, my name's Megan and I am a 23 year old book addict! Who doesn't love sitting down with an awesome book and being taken into that world, falling in love with characters and going on a journey to forbidden, unexplored and sometimes scary new places. I know I do! I also love to listen to music and watch television. I am a massive Glee fan, who just happens to (a little overobessively) love actor Darren Criss!!! :)

Can you tell us abit about your blog?

My blog is a blog for all things Young Adult (YA) YA is a genre I love and I don't think anything has even come close to beating it. I feature reviews of some of the most awesome new YA I love and am a big supporter of Indie/self published authors. I love to feature new/upcoming YA authors though my YA feature every Friday as well as organise blog tours for various authors.

How and Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging as I had been following many awesome blogs for a while and thought I could do that. I loved reading and shared my opinions on books I had read with my friends and sister. Why not share it with the world? LOL That is basically way I started blogging and what a journey it has been!

How long have you been blogging for?

I have been blogging since March 2nd 2011 and I remember this date as it is my best friends birthday :) I can't believe in less that two months I will be celebrating one year blogging.

Can you sum up your blogging experience so far in 5 words?

Eye-opening, inspirational, exciting, fun & shocking

What was your favourite book as a child and why?

Whenever asked this question even though I have read loads of books, one always springs to mind. I used to love reading the Mr Majeika books by Humphrey Carpenter.  They are about a teacher who is in fact a magician and the adventures he goes on with his class!

Do you judge a book by it's cover?

I do and I know this may be wrong! If I haven't read a book by the author before or the book isn't apart of a series, it is the book cover that usually makes me pick it up and see what is it about! : /

If you could have dinner with 2 characters from any books who would they be and why?

Oh that is such a hard question!! There are loads of fictional characters I love especially the guys he he. I will pick a guy and a girl to be fair. At the moment the guy would be Ryan Beckford from The Childe Series by CA Kunz. I love him!!! The girl would probably be.... oh scrap that it would have to be another guy, he he, Seth Waters from A Witch in Winter by Ruth Warburton. Hot!!

Which fictional hottie do you wish was real?

Really!!! Look at the trouble I had with the question above! There are loads!! fictional guys are hot! Emm.. there is Seth from a Witch in Winter, Ryan from The Childe Series, Ron from Harry Potter, Jacob from Twilight.. oh dear, how about oh Alex from the Angel Trilogy by L.A.Weatherly he is so hot! All these hotties have GF's though that might suck my blood or cast a spell on me being as their girlfriends are either, witches, half vampires or half angels!

Is there an author whose books you would recommend that have made an impact on you?

The Childe Series by CA.Kunz. I am reading this series at the minute and I love it.

Promises to Keep is your latest novel Can you tell my readers abit about it?
(It is called The Love Verb in the UK). It was inspired by my own experience of looking after one of my best friends when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and is really about the lessons I learned during that short and heartbreaking journey - what it means to love someone.

Do you like the way your UK/USA book covers are different and do you have a preference?
I have never had a strong preference, although I recently received the cover for my new book in the US, which is completely different to anything I have ever had before, and it is the most beautiful cover I have ever had.

Do you think the front covers of books need to be as capivating as the story itself?
Unquestionably. Faced with hundreds of books in a bookstore, you automatically gravitate to the ones with covers that are compelling or speak to you in some way.

What inspired you to become a writer? I was a huge reader as a child, and developed an enormous love of words, and of the ability we have, as humans, to escape and lose ourselves entirely within the pages of a wonderful book.

You have wrote many fantastic books which has been the most challenging to write? The Love Verb was the most challenging emotionally, but Girl Friday was the hardest, only because I was attempting to inject more mystery and suspense, and I got so bogged down by the complications of the plot, I lost my way with the characters, and their emotional journey.

I love reading your books and even over again, did you enjoy writing them as much as we (the readers) love reading them? I have the greatest job in the world, and I love it, but some books have definitely been easier than others. The Beach House and Jemima J were perhaps the easiest, only because the characters felt so real to me, I missed them for ages afterwards once I had finished writing.

What book are you currently reading? Untold Story by Monica Ali – a novel that deals with the fictitious premise that Princess Diana did not, in fact, perish in a dreadful accident, but escaped to live an anonymous life in a small suburb in America, and re-reading Perfection by Julie Metz.

Who are your favourite Authors? Armistead Maupin, Jonathan Tropper, Barbara Trapido, Jane Gardam and Cathleen Schine.

For aspiring Authors out there is there any advice you could give them? Write the book you want to write, not the book you think is going to sell, and finish one book before you start another – anyone can start a book, but finishing it is the hard part.

Last question can you tell readers one random fact about yourself? If I had a choice, I would be in bed, lights out, by 9 every night. Sad, but true.

What just happened? Memories raced as I sped toward the highway, desperately searching for an explanation. Nothing came.

The late afternoon breeze cooling the August sky seemed different. The smell was the same woodsy scent that was uniquely the mountains, but the air felt different—like fresh ozone after a spring rain. I shivered, suddenly regretting the impulse to leave the top off the Jeep.

Surely if something had happened, someone else would have noticed. What if it was all a figment of my imagination? Was he even real?

Dense trees surrounded the entrance to the gravel drive, and I pulled off the road for a moment, not yet ready to face Edna. Resting my head on the seat, I admired the day’s last light filtering through the canopy.

Something within me had changed. In an instant, my life felt different. It was as if my senses had spent their entire existence encased in slumber and they now were set free. My eyes wandered to the lush green life that grew dark in the muted light. The still small voice that beckoned me to stay now became insistent—it was crucial that I keep quiet. No one must know. Green eyes and warm hands embraced my memory one last time before I locked them away.

Physical Description: Billie’s physique is what one might call average. She has a fair skin tone, grey eyes, and a lot of thick brown curly hair just past her shoulder.

This n That:  She grew up in a small town in the middle of Virginia, which is where the story takes place. Her father’s in sales, her mother’s a real estate agent, and Billie has a seventeen year old brother named Dan. Dan’s looks are similar to Billie’s; same skin tone and hair, and he is taller by a few inches. Billie and Dan haven’t been the closest of siblings during her first sixteen years of life. The family resides in a one story home a few blocks from her school.

Likes:  She enjoys hanging out with her best friends, Arianna (Ari) and Jocelyn (Joss). She loves her Golden Retriever, Sam. And she enjoys hearing her boyfriend, Tony’s New York accent. Her favourite snack is a plate of greasy cheese fries. And although Billie enjoys reading classics, she likes nothing more than to curl up on the couch and watch a classic musical.

Dislikes:  Stupid annoying people - which she just might classify as most of her graduating class. Billie is not crazy about her name. She dislikes make up and having to straighten her hair, but she does it anyway.
